A Measure of a Man

"For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him." - Isaiah 53:2 NKJV.

According to this verse Jesus wasn't a good looking man, and it indicates that if you passed Him on the street before He became well known you would probably not take notice to Him.

Our self worth comes from how we reflect Christ in our lives and not what we reflect from a mirror. Our identity in Christ should be the most important thing about us, because everything else is secondary.
