A Piece of God

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." (Col. 3:15 NKJV).
In the Old Testament, “peace” carries the fundamental meaning of welfare, prosperity, or wholeness as well as the absence of hostility, and it is also a synonym for what is good. When you have a piece of God, you then get to experience His peace which is everlasting.
Ecclesiastes 3:8 reads: "A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace." When you carry the peace of God in your heart, there is no room for hate, only love because through it all, love is the most power force. Having a peace of God in your heart means that nothing can disrupt that no matter how hard it tries.
It's the peace of God that allows us to rest well at night because we know that through Him everything will be alright.
