"Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! (Psalm 100:1 NKJV).
Good morning, God's beautiful people. It's another Monday morning, but it is another opportunity to give God the praise, honor and glory that He deserves. He didn't have to do it, but He did!
Every Sunday, millions and millions of people gather in churches to worship and praise the LORD. Whether in structures great or small, magnificent or simple, extravagant or beautifully plain, out in the open or in secret, people from all walks of life gather in God’s holy name. But on the other hand, millions and millions of people do not follow this pattern. Millions worship false gods or no god at all. Their eyes are blinded to the truth. They cannot or do not see that the LORD is their Creator and God (2 Co. 4:4).
Psalm 100 is one that emphasizes the Lord as the eternal King. It describes His people going into His house to serve Him with gladness, and they come before HIs presence with singing, because as the verse goes on to say, He is God, and it was He who made us.
This psalm teaches us the actual purpose of the church: to joyfully express praise and thanksgiving to God, to present ourselves for God’s service, and to urge all people of the earth to come into a relationship with God through His Son.
Father God, we sing praises to Your Holy name, and we thank You for all that You have done in our lives. We come into Your presence with joy and gladness to worship You for who You are, because You are good, and Your mercy is everlasting. It's in the name of Jesus that we pray. Amen!
I pray that you all have a wonderful day.
One love,
