Advancing the Gospel

And with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace." (Eph. 6:15 NIV).

Good morning, God's beautiful people, it is another Faithful Friday. We praise God for giving us the strength to make to this day.

Can you imagine what we would look like as Christian if we thought we could make it through life without wearing the armor that God has designed for us? We would be like a football player with a helmet, or a race car driver without a crew.

Part of the key to victory is to press forward to win the prize that God has called us, but we must put on the full armor in order to be effective.

A shoeless Christian is unprepared to share the gospel, and those who do not advance the gospel are nothing more than stationary soldiers taking up space in the barracks. Your mission is to seek out those who are lost so that we may share with them the gift of eternal life.

We must take the fight to the enemy, meet him just where he stands, because the Word of God must go forth.

Father, we will go forth and teach others of You, the Son and the Holy Spirit as we were commanded to do. It's by the power of Jesus Christ that as we walk today, we do it in peace and love. It's in the wonderful and faithful name of Jesus that we pray. Amen!
