Be Brave!

“Everyone shall hate you because you belong to Me. But all of you who endure to the end shall be saved.” (Matt. 10:22 TLB).

For those who believe, we know that the essence of the gospel’s message is God’s love and wonderful plan that He was for us all. However, to the sinner, his thoughts cannot take him to this place. In his mind he questions the fact that IF God is love, then why are bad things happening all over the world? His focus is not on what the Bible says that things must occur, but he looks at the here and now.

It's true though, when you are trying to walk the path that God has laid out before you, distractions come up. Along the path there are moments of persecutions, set backs and hard times. You will be laughed at, talked about and there may be moments within yourself to give up and turn back. But listen, that’s just what the enemy wants you to do. He wants you to quit because when you do, that’s one less person he has to worry about.

I read this just this morning: “Don’t let any set of circumstance intimidate you. Keep reminding yourself that the more challenging your day is, the more Power God will provide.” – Jesus Listens; Sarah Young.

Father thank You for the strength and power that we need for this day. Just as Your servant Samson prayed, “Strengthen me, I pray, just this once O God!” It’s in Jesus’ name that we pray. Amen!
