Deliverance

"When Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and put them on the fire, a viper driven out by the heat fastened on his hand." (Acts 28:3 MEV).

Shipwrecked but saved. Marooned and facing dangers, but accepted. Snake bitten but healed. Facing superstition but given an opportunity to spread the gospel. Lonely but encouraged. This is the story of Paul's journey to Rome in Acts chapter 28. Can you imagine, if just one of those things would have happened to you where you would be?

Take a few moments out today and thank God for the goodness of His grace and mercy. Thank Him for the encouragement and strength that He gives in the time of need, and on top of that, thank Him for delivering you.

God we praise and bless Your Holy name on this day, thank You for all that You have done and continue to do for us in our lives. We don't thank You enough, so today we want to do it. It's in Jesus name that we pray. Amen!
