He is Righteous

"He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake." (Psalm 23:3 KJV).

As the Word of God speaks out of the book of Isaiah: "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." (Isa. 53:6). Sheep follow each other blindly along the same hills and trails even if it leads them to danger. We have the same habits as well, as we see the destruction that others are facing and yet, we follow them blindly and stupidly down the same path.

But in all of this chaos and confusion, Christ, our Good Shepherd comes and says to us, that if any man will follow Him, he must deny himself of his own needs and desires, and pick up their cross.

It's true for the most part we are stubborn and want to do things our own way, but the right way is the way of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, because He leads us in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
