His name is Jesus

"Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us." (Matt. 1:23 KJV).

Chapter 1 of Matthew gives us a long list of names in the genealogy of Jesus Christ. Most of those names in the first 15 verses other than the name of David may be unfamiliar to us, but verse 16 gives us the Name that is ABOVE ALL names, that is the name of Jesus.

The Bible tells us that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow and every tongue WILL confess that He is Lord. Demons tremble at His Name. His name means Power, it is Mighty and Wonderful. His name is Everlasting, and it is Peace. His name is Immanuel - God with us.

"Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with my righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10 CSB.

What a Wonderful name it is, the name of Jesus. Father we thank You for Jesus Christ. He is the Prince of Peace, our Counselor and Comforter. He is the Everlasting Father, and He is Lord. It's in His name that we give all praise, honor and glory to You tonight. We love You and we thank You, in Jesus' name. Amen!
