Who is Jesus?

Updated: Jan 11, 2020

"But you,” he asked them, “who do you say that I am?" (Matt. 16:15 CSB).

He was more than a baby that was born in Bethlehem. He was more that just a mere man that walked on this earth with the right answers to your questions. He wasn't just a nobody looking for attention, He was the One that came to give life. When He asked the question of Peter, he responded with a confession that was personal - "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God!"

I don't know what others may feel, but to me He is more than just a name, He is the Name above all names. He is more than just a king, He is the King of all kings and Lord of all lords. Tonight He is a father and mother to me, and He is also the One who has dried my tears with His comforting presence. My confession is true and personal to me, and my love for Him extends far beyond what I could have ever imagined. He is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, my Lord and Savior. He is God in the flesh.

Father I thank You for the gift of live that came from the death of Your Son Jesus Christ. He is the Light that was sent from heaven to bring men out of the darkness, and I am thankful that He found me before it was too late. Thank You for the reason to celebrate this day, and that is to recognize the Glory that came on this day over 2000 years ago. I love You because You first loved me enough to save my soul. It's in the Mighty and Wonderful name of Jesus Christ that I pray. Amen!

I hope that you all had a wonderful time today and that it was filled with joy and laughter. Please remember the reason why we are giving thanks on this day. I pray that you all have a blessed evening.

One Love,
