"Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.." (James 5:19-20 KJV).
Each of us no matter who we are and how strong we may appear to be are not exempt from temptations or trials of life. We must know and understand that we are in combat. But the steps have been laid out for us to overcome and conquer them. The first thing to learn is being patient, and then take the circumstance and respond to it through prayer.
Believers sometimes stray away or backslide, and when this happens we must seek them out. We cannot let them continue to walk in the ways of error, but bring them back to the truth, because seeking out others for the Lord strengthens them and us against temptations, and the person can become a stronger witness for Christ.
We all have faults and each of us fall short each and everyday. There are none who are righteous, or perfect for that matter. But as the body of Christ, we can lead a person to repentance, turning them away from sin. The Bible tells us that once a believer's soul has been restored back to Christ, a multitude of sins becomes covered and forgiven by His blood.
One Love,
