For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain" (Phil. 1:27 NKJV).
Good morning, God's beautiful people. It is a beautiful morning here in Fort Myers FL. Although I may not be down here on joyous times, I find joy in my Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ who gives me strength.
I once said that every day may not be a good day, but there is good in every day, and just because you are a Christian does not mean you will not face trails or suffering. We strive because of the strength that the Lord gives, and no matter what the world may say or think, it is because of Christ that we live.
The apostle Paul hit the nail right on the head with this one, because if we live long enough, we will suffer, we will go through trials and tribulations, but if we humble ourselves and exalt Christ, we become like Him and we are able to bear the cross that we carry.
My brother, Frederick Crawford was a man who was loving and kind, and he did not have an enemy, because everyone he came into contact with were immediately overcome by the joy that he displayed. He had pains that he did not share with others, and kept them bottled down inside, but he strived to live his life the best way that he could, for Christ.
We all run this Christian race, one that is not a sprint, but a marathon that will last for a lifetime, and we must get and keep our bodies in top spiritual condition so that when the race is over, we will receive the crown of life. As the apostle Paul said, "For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
Father I just want to thank You for giving me another day to say that I love You. Thank You for the life of my brother Frederick L. Crawford Sr., as I know that he is spending his time in the joy and comfort of his Lord. Thank You for love and kindness. Thank You for strength and comfort. But most importantly, thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ who died for the sins of the world. It is in His name that I pray. Amen!
I pray that you all have a marvelous day.
One Love,
