Makes Me Want to Shout

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.” (Psalm 150:6 NIV).
When Jesus rode into Jerusalem those who were His followers began to cheer and shout out His name. But as always, there were those around like the Pharisees who didn’t want to hear all of that noise, asked Him to silence the crowds. You know the kind, you work with them, live by them and even sit by them in church. The moment you start praising and worshipping God for what He has done for you, they tell you “It don’t take all that.”
We are the handiwork of His hands, the clay that was formed and fashioned by Him. He knows us through and through, and even though we may stray to left sometimes, He still loves us. And if that is not enough for you to scream and shout about, then I don’t know what else to tell you.
When we look around at creation, especially today where it is cold and freezing temperatures are everywhere, we still can see the beauty of God’s creation running about. We still hear the singing coming from the birds in the trees, squirrels running about digging up its meal. There are dear prancing around somewhere enjoying this moment. They are praising God in their own way. Imagine that, even nature cries out to our loving Father. We have the ability to recognize that our Creator is worthy of our praise, so with that we should all shout with joy. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Father we adore You and we love You and we praise Your Holy name for everything that You have given us. Thank You for what will be another wonderful day. It’s in the name of Jesus that we pray. Amen!
One Love,
