Readjust your Movement!

“Now behold, the two of them were traveling that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was seven miles from Jerusalem.” (Luke 24:13 NKJV).

To get the full-blown view of this passage, you must travel back to verses 1-12 for it’s meaning. You see it was Resurrection Day, and just as Jesus had promised His disciples that He would be risen, these two just could not gather the truth in their minds. If Jesus told them that He would be in Jerusalem, why would they be headed in the opposite direction going back home?

Sometimes we can get so caught up in our own feelings, that we forget what He has said to us. We failed to get a grip on the reality of His Words, so we take action in our own hands. They didn’t believe that He has risen, so these two men, went back home.

But it’s during these times where everything seems to be lost, and that the enemy has won the battle, is when He comes alongside and walks with us. He listens as we pour out our deepest and innermost thoughts. Then He talks and gives us a lesson of what the Bible has said about Him. He gives us the truth, and with the truth, it sets us free from the issues that we once had. It sets us free, because only the Son can make us free. Readjust, change your direction and go running back to the cross.

I pray that you all have a safe and enjoyable month.

One Love,
