Reflections

"Everyone called by My name and created for My glory. I have formed him; indeed, I have made him." (Isaiah 43:7 HCSB).

Good morning God's beautiful people and welcome to this day. It's not only the last Sunday of this year but of the decade. As we look back over the last 10 years of our lives we have to know that it was nothing but the goodness of God and of His grace and mercy that we are still here. Millions over those times did not make it to see this day, but we did, we are still here and we all have a mission to accomplish for Him.

You may not have a clear understanding of what God is doing in your life right now, and sometimes you may have doubts if this is what you are suppose to be doing. But remember, His thoughts are not our thoughts, and His ways are not the way we would do it. God has a plan for your life but you must have trust in Him and you must obey.

A friend said this to me the other day, faith is the foundation of the Christian life, it is what gets us in the door, but trust keeps us going. No matter the situation or circumstance, we trust God enough to see us through. You may not understand today, but one day His plan will be revealed to you and is purpose will be fulfilled in your life.

God we thank You for this day, such a lovely day. It's the final Sunday of the year and as we look back over the days, we know that it was by grace and mercy that we have made it this far. We thank You for keeping Your Strong Arm wrapped around us, we are thankful that we are in the palm of Your hand in which no man can snatch us out. We have faith and trust in You and the plan that You have laid out for us, and we will follow You in obedience. Wash and cleanse us by the Word, and it's in Jesus name that we pray. Amen!

I pray that this day is a special one for you. As you reflect on it, look back at the highs and lows, the peaks and valleys. You went through a lot this year, but God was gracious enough and had compassion to bring you out. He is a Mighty Good God. Have a blessed day.
