Stay Consistent

“Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be firm, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” (1 Cor. 15:58 NASB).

Consistency is the definition of God’s character. Without it even for a moment, the world would unravel and spin off its axis. Even something as simple as the air we breathe is exactly as we need it to be. He is the epitome of consistency.

To be a more consistent Christian we must put in the work, and it starts with discipline and self-control. It helps us to focus on God’s Word by letting go of old habits and starting fresh. If we want to improve, we must achieve for spiritual growth to be consistent in everything we do.

Some of the ways we can go about it is to schedule a daily time to spend with the Lord, meeting other believers, fasting and prayer. Limit your time with worldly things and increase your spiritual time. When you are consistent you are also committed. Your commitment shouldn’t change with the circumstances. So don’t give up, be transform by the renewing of your mind in Christ Jesus.

One Love,
