"Whoever loves strong teaching loves much learning, but he who hates strong words is foolish." (Proverbs 12:1 NLV).
Have you ever met someone who has all the answers to every question that you may have. What about the person who can give you correction but refuses to take it when it comes to them? In order to grow you must first be willing to listen and learn. "Happy is the man that finds wisdom and that gets an understanding, and the doors of wisdom are never shut."
The character of the righteous and wise determines their attitudes and actions. They are successful because they are willing to pay a price in order to be blessed by the Lord. They know that it is through correction that they learn discipline, and in addition they love the lessons and knowledge that is gained through wise instruction. Wisdom!
