"Simeon took Jesus in his arms and praised God. He said, Now, master, let Your servant go in peace according to Your word, because my eyes have seen Your salvation. You prepared this salvation in the presence of all peoples. It’s a light for revelation to the Gentiles and a glory for Your people Israel." - Luke 2:28-32 CEB.
Simeon was a man who walked closely with God, and God was able to use him to encourage Joseph and Mary. He was a man that was led by the Holy Spirit who looked for the coming of the Messiah as he was a faithful believer that waited with all hope and patience.
The Lord Jesus was God's salvation, and Simeon not only had the opportunity to see Him, but he embraced Him as well. He believed and trusted in all of God's promises and he was now ready to die in peace.
God we thank You for the salvation that came into the world to save it from sin and condemnation. We are forever grateful for Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We love You and we thank You through the Saving name of Your Son Jesus Christ. Amen!
I pray that you all have a blessed night.
One Love,
