Troubles Don't Last!

"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me." (John 14:1 NKJV).

Good morning God's beautiful people, and yes it is Saturday. The birds are singing, the air is fresh and new and we are here to witness all that God has in store for us. Praise Him for His great and mighty acts.

Troubled, disturbed, agitated and tossed about, this is the daily dealings of the Christian. When we first gave our lives to Christ and His saving grace came upon us, everything was all gravy, it was good to go. But suddenly one day things changed and the troubles began.

The life of a Christian is filled with many roadblocks, potholes and detours. There are set backs, dry spots and high hills to climb. And just when you thought you have made it through one thing, up comes another just as fast . "As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter." (Rom. 8:36).

What Christ has come to tell us that if we believe that God will deliver us from our troubles and trials, we should also believe that He being the Author and Finisher of our faith would do the same thing. In other words, the only way to true joy and happiness is to trust and obey Jesus, and walk in faith.
