Watch for, Walk with, and Wait on the Lord

"It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD." (Lam. 3:26 ESV).

Good morning, God's beautiful people, and praise God for giving us another opportunity to get things right with Him.

Christian's live with the promise that Jesus Christ shall come again with all glory. But until that time, we must watch for, walk with, and wait on Him, because as we can all see, the world is in a state of despair.

There is disorder and danger all around, and as the late Billy Graham once said; "The world is ungoverned, and apparently ungovernable."

One day Christ will come again, but until that time we are encouraged to stand in the face of affliction hoping for deliverance from the pain. We must separate ourselves from the world when it complains about suffering and affliction, because theirs come from unbelief. But we who believe, we must continue to bear the yoke of God's discipline, knowing that those painful afflictions are for a purpose.

Father, it is in the name of Jesus that we pray and thank You for all things great and small. We thank You for the good along with the bad. When things are going our way, we praise You, and when the tables are turned in the opposite direction, we will still praise Your holy name. It is in the name of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ that we pray. Amen!
