What Should You Think About Daily?

"For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. Eat and drink he says to you, but his heart is not with you." (Prov. 23:7 NKJV).

Where are your thoughts first thing in the morning? Is it on things that you have pending to do for that day, or are your thoughts on things that are from heaven?

Matthew 6:33 tells us: "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." So right from the start, our thoughts should be kingdom minded.

When you begin your day with fresh thoughts, the rest of it goes by with a breeze. Problems that you had yesterday with a family member or co-worker is a thing of the past. But when you allow Satan to take root and place negative thoughts in your mind, then you are looking to get back at that person who did you wrong.

Have the mindset of a winner, seek out wisdom and instruction as if it was like hidden treasure and your heart is set upon getting it. Wisdom comes from above, yet "You do not have because you do not ask." (James 4:2b).

So begin your day in the presence of God, seeking His will first before anything else, then with the desires of your heart ask Him, and You shall receive.
