Your Hearts Desire

"Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart." (Psalm 37:4 NKJV).

Delighting yourself in the Lord means that you want your desires to line up with His. As you learn more of what God wants for your life and it lines up with His Word, then more and more they will be fulfilled. God desires to grant all of your needs and to give you what your heart desires as well.

When we meditate of His Word then our minds become renewed in such a way that His desires will become ours. I don't know about you, but I want what God wants for me and I desire what He desires for my life.

God we delight in You, and we are so thankful for Your promise that You will give us the desires of our hearts, and we praise Your Holy name. Lord our desires are before You and our groaning is not hidden from You. We have hope that You hear us and answer us, and we take great pleasure in knowing that You will guide us with Your Word. We love You and praise You this day. It's in the name of Jesus that we pray. Amen!
